Support The Connecticut Art Gallery!

The Connecticut Art Gallery’s primary purposes are to promote the fine arts in the fields of painting, drawing and sculpture referred to as traditional and representational art. We seek sponsors for many programs and events.

Why We Would Like Your Help

To create a visually interesting venue that mixes art, music, food & wine. We are raising $100,000 for the creation of The Connecticut Art Gallery. Funds will be used to increase handicap accessibility, add new flooring and lighting, service kitchen, legal, management, marketing, and operations expenses. The space will be used for art and business education purposes.

Steve Schappert is an abstract artist and real estate broker. He opened his 3000 s.f. office in Thomaston in July of 2020. He started hanging some of his art and people took notice, so he invited other artist and the concept took off. After speaking with the masses we realize the concept of mixing shared office space with an art gallery could be big. But only if done right. So we are reaching out to professionals in the field to see how we can up the game.

The space previously housed a church and can fit close to 200 people, the presentation area easily fits 100 and the conference room is 12′ x 24′. The opportunities to co-host events with the 4500 SF restaurant downstairs are endless. You can you spare a dollar? Donate here:

 

Individual Donations
The Connecticut Art Gallery is creating a member-based organization. A donation is generally a one-time gift that goes to the company’s general fund. You can help with a dollar or more, every dollar counts! Your gift in any amount is greatly appreciated and goes a long way in funding our creation and programs, exhibitions, and publications, including:

  • Monthly Exhibits
  • Weekly Exhibitions combined with live music
  • Meetups with the Connecticut Business Network
  • Meetups with the Connecticut Contractor Network

Donation Gift Levels:

  • A $100 donation will get you an original 12″ x12″ abstract painting on stretched canvas by Steve Schappert with 3 of your favorite colors.
  • A $500 donation will get you an original 24″ x24″ abstract painting on stretched canvas by Steve Schappert with 3 of your favorite colors and at least 6 layers of acrylic.
  • A $1000 donation will get you an original 24″ x36″ abstract painting on stretched canvas by Steve Schappert with 3 of your favorite colors and at least 10 layers of acrylic.
  • A $5000 donation will get you an original 48″ x60″ abstract painting on stretched canvas by Steve Schappert with 3 of your favorite colors and at least 20 layers of acrylic.

Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities

Program Sponsors
Corporations and individuals are invited to sponsor one of our monthly membership programs, which are open to the general public. The Connecticut Business Network and The Connecticut Art Gallery shares the same space with kitchen, conference room and meeting space. Meetings are held from throughout the year and average attendance is approximately 25 people, we anticipate this will climb to 100 very quickly.

Events are often followed by dinner and drinks downstairs at Crabby Al’s, a full-service restaurant and sports bar. Programs include lectures, panel discussions, and museum tours, and cover a wide variety of topics of interest to artists, collectors, galleries and patrons of the arts and business owners.

A $500 Program Sponsorship includes:

  • Recognition in all printed materials and on all meeting signage. Public acknowledgment at the meeting.
  • Recognition in The Connecticut Art Gallery Newsletter.
  • Recognition on The Connecticut Art Gallery website, and in emailed invitations and announcements to our membership.
